Full summary of everything that LS and Doublelift discussed on today's LCS costream

There's a handful of clips on the frontpage right now from the stream and I felt that people would be very interested to read about all the different things that the two talked about on today's stream. Overall it was an incredibly insightful look into how coaching works in NA and just how terrible it is compared to other regions. Really makes NA look completely doomed. Here's where the vod starts if you'd like to watch it for yourself: It doesn't get interesting until the beginning of game 2.

[FWI]In 2036 Putin's selected and groomed Succesor Runs in the the presidential election.

To run in the election he would need to be a minimum of 35 years of age meaning that Putin's potential succesor would have lived almost his entire life under Putin.
He would most likely have been a member of one of the many pro Putin youth movements.Their differences where mostly in goals and actions but they shared a similar main goal and that was to oppose "anti-Fatherland union of oligarchs, anti-Semites,Facists,Nazis,liberals and preventing the introduction of foreign control in Russia".
Under the constitution you can only run for president(and any higher office) if you are above 35 years of age and lived in Russia for the last 25 years.
Fictional potential succsor to Putin Alexander Morozov(Age 42 in 2036,born in 1994)
He was a member of many pro Putin youth movements.Their differences where mostly in goals age groups and actions but they shared a similar main goal and that was to oppose "anti-Fatherland union of oligarchs, anti-Semites,Facists,Nazis,liberals and preventing the introduction of foreign control in Russia".
He holds National-Conservative views while having a technocratic International law background.
He served 4 years in the Russian Army from 2012-2016 as a commisioned officer and participated in the "Liberation" of Crimea at the age of 20, he later studied at the Moscow state University graduating with an International law degree.
In 2020 he became a Registered United Russia Party Member at the age of 26.
He moved inside the party holding a variaty of Positions until 2032 when Putin selects him to be his official succesor(Age 38).
Russia in 2036:
The Corona virus crisis of 2020 still looms large even after many years of world wide chaos and instability,Civil conflicts and wars have become more common the new cold war between china and the US has turn into a bitter prolong affair.
With many countries banning non electric vehicles the price of oil has mostly remained low forcing Russia to adopt lower spending for a prolong period of time something that is opposed by the many leftists movements in Russia that want unchecked spending to promote growth a policty similar to Western Countries.
Russia overall stands fairly strong with its economy mostly being state controlled and indepdendent from the world market it had not suffered the same supply chain disruption other countries have witnessed over the past few years.
The west and China want to force open Russia to their "Investment" as Resource shortages of importentent minerals have created tensions across the globe with many nations eyeing Russia with envy or contempt.
The Dawn of the robotic age has helped Russia to manage the population decline and helped the development of the far north and Siberia.
Russia stands in a dangerous moment that could decide its future should United Russia continue its policy of low spending and economic stability or will a change occur that could change the entire world!
The 2036 Election will decide who will be the president of Russia for the next 6 years.
Create your own candidates to Run Against him.
The top 5 candidates will be part of the FWI Russian 2036 presidential election

[USA-MN] [H] 6700k, Z170, R9 Fury X, 120MM AIO, 4x8GB DDR4-2600, 800W 80+ Bronze PSU, Cyberpower ATX Case, Gigabyte BRIX, Z270, Wraith Stealth, GTX 780Ti, Void Pro TGB Headset [W] Paypal, Local Cash

Hey all, parting out a PC along with a few other parts that I've accumulated. All prices include shipping; I'll adjust if anyone is local. Local for me is 55803; if you're in the Twin Cities area and would rather wait rather than pay shipping, I might be able to deliver next time I'm down at the end of October (depending where exactly you are).
Please PM rather than chat. I won't intentionally ignore a chat, but I probably won't see it as soon as a PM.
Full timestamp album
This section is all components from the prebuilt I'm parting out. It was purchased in 2016 and all components are original.
i7-6700k sold as combo with mobo/RAM to RoboticBMX for $350 shipped Never overclocked. Used exclusively with the AIO listed below. No known issues. Prefer to sell with the Z170 board as a combo. Pic (timestamp in the mobo picture below)
ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming sold as combo with CPU/RAM to RoboticBMX for $350 shipped No known issues. Prefer to sell with the 6700k as a combo. Pic
R9 Fury X - $145 Needs to be cleaned (by me) but it's in good working condition otherwise. Pic
Asetek 550LC 120mm AIO for Intel sold to Pastorof_Disaster for $50 shipped From what I understand, this is essentially a Corsair H55 without the branding; someone correct me if that's not true or not the whole truth. There's a fan too, just forgot to put it in the picture. Pic
XPG 4x8GB DDR4-2800 sold as combo with mobo/CPUto RoboticBMX for $350 shipped Model is AX4U2800W8G17-BWZ, timings are 17-17-17-17. Not exactly ideal speed/timings for those looking to squeeze out every frame, but should be perfectly fine for normal people. Happy to split into two sets of two; I'd prefer not to split further though. Pic
ATNG 800W 80+ Bronze PSU sold to mtgawesome for $40 shipped Holy god, is this thing ugly. Wait, is that not a good sales pitch? Let me start over. It's obviously non-modular, but high wattage, inexpensive, and not a fire hazard. There, that's got to be at least a neutral pitch. There's a standard power cable, of course, just forgot to put it in the picture. Model is ATA-800FB-B. Pic
CyberpowerPC ATX Case - $30 - local only I can't find a specific model for this; closest thing to a model seems to be "c-series." Pretty standard compact ATX case, still has the RGB in it. Due to the value vs. cost of shipping, I'm looking for local only on this one. I can add more pictures, just need to clean it out a bit and was focused on the other items. Pic
Other items:
Gigabyte BRIX - $375 This was set up for a specific need that was suddenly nonexistent the moment it was ready. So, it's been used long enough to install Windows and some basic programs, then be wiped and have Windows reinstalled. The exact model is GB-BRi5-8250 and it features an i5-8250U. Added after purchase: 256GB 860 EVO SATA SSD, 16 GB RAM, and Windows 10 Pro. The one thing missing from the box is the VESA adapter. I'm not sure if I need to turn it on and grab a timestamp of sysinfo; I didn't think of that until now but I can add if needed. Pics: 1 2 3
ASRock Z270 Killer SLI/ac - $90 This was purchased to fix a PC with motherboard issues, except it turned out to be issues with something else, so this hasn't really been used. Only sign of use is some sloppily applied thermal paste on the CPU clamp; otherwise it's new with all accessories in the box (antennae aren't visible in the pic). Pics: 1 2 3
Wraith Stealth - $20 Brand new, I put a 3600 in a build for my wife and had a Prism that I'd replaced from my PC, so I used that instead. Pic
GTX 780Ti Reference sold to EmbarghoBackwards for $80 I believe this was used in a workstation; mostly pretty light loads with the occasional workstation-type load. I can't say I know too much about its past beyond that, but it works fine! Pic
Void Pro RGB Wireless Headset - $65 No issues with this. I used it for a little over a year; unfortunately, it just didn't fit my little head very well. Nice otherwise; original box and everything. Pic
Please PM rather than chat. I won't intentionally ignore a chat, but I probably won't see it as soon as a PM.

PS Now is really under appreciated

Okay, so I know from the start this is a flawed argument, because Xbox Game Pass has all of the Microsoft Studio games on there and straight away on release... So considering that, if PlayStation did that it would, imo, be the hands down winner. But even without these, just look at the list and you'll see how much value you're getting! Oof!

Events in Pixonic’s War Robots: How studio developed and tested hypotheses

The main purpose of this sub is to discuss strategy and tactics, however the business model does come up periodically. Found this article interesting about Pixonic's approach to events.

Events in Pixonic’s War Robots: How studio developed and tested hypotheses
Vadim Charugin, Lead Game Designer at Pixonic, speaks on the importance of in-game events and the studio’s experience with them.
What follows is the edited transcript of the keynote Vadim presented at White Nights Moscow.
Events: how we understand them, what are the pros and cons
What do we at Pixonic mean by events? These are in-game events that last for a limited time. They introduce additional content or abilities unavailable to players at other times.
What are the main advantages of events?
They increase the player base; During holidays, players have much more time to check out the game, play it, and participate in activities. They communicate more, watch more videos. For example, on our YouTube channel, all videos related to the events get way more views than the regular ones (sometimes by millions).
Events are perfect for retargeting; Users respond best to campaigns related to events. They are especially effective in retargeting former users if you promise to award them with new content if they return to the game.
Events increase purchase count; During events, users tend to spend more that they usually do. This is because people make emotional purchases during the holidays. In addition, events typically coincide with sales and offers.
Events are a great way to test your hypotheses and fine-tune the mechanics. Through events, we add additional features or content, track players’ reaction, collect feedback. We don’t have to communicate to players that the change is only temporary, it’s assumed. However, if they like it very much, they can ask to keep it for good, which we typically do.
There are some disadvantages as well:
Sales temporarily drop after events; During the events users play more actively than usual. There is a risk that people get fed up with the game. It passes over time, but within this period of recovery from fatigue, the game metrics may be lower than the average.
Getting used to the events; If events take place in the game too often, players can get used to them. They will suspect that an event with special content and temporary sales can begin at any moment. And instead of spending money here and now, they will wait for an event. This will lead to a drop in revenue.
Strict release schedules for seasonal and holiday events. Many events are associated with specific dates. For example, you can’t release the New Year’s event in February. This keeps the team under constant pressure. To ship new content on time, sometimes you have to start preparing it six months before the release. Because they are impossible to delay, these events often come out with bugs.
Our first event
We only started doing events in War Robots in 2016. By then, we clearly understood their pros and cons. We also knew that they became a standard for the industry, so we absolutely had to have them. However, there were two things to consider before we launched our first event that autumn.
First of all, by that time the game already had enough content for all types of users. And we were ready to make more.
Secondly, we wanted to try something new with the game.
Start time and duration
Since the launch of the first event, we have experimented a lot with the event start time and duration. Here are the conclusions we came to.
An event should take place simultaneously across all platforms that our game was released on. If it starts one day on one platform, and two days later on the other, it will be very inconvenient for the players and may confuse the developers.
An event shouldn’t be too long. Otherwise, the users will get tired. For example, we had an event that began in early December and ended in mid-January. In the first weeks, players responded very positively. But when the event went on for the fourth week, the players were tired. As a result, by mid-January we saw player activity drop. It took the game the rest of January to recover to the previous level of player activity.
Events should not be too short either. It is important that as many users as possible take part in the event. We came to the conclusion that the optimal duration for an event is 17-18 days. It is better to start events on a Thursday, when the work week is nearing its end.
What do we do during an event
Since we started doing events, we’ve changed a lot of things about them.
Store icon. This is the change that any player sees as soon as the game is updated. People understand that the game has somehow changed, and this encourages them to return to it. But don’t change icons too much or too often. Otherwise, players might even fail to recognize your game or they would be confused: is it a new icon? Or the old one?
New visual elements for maps. During events, it’s a good idea to add new elements that do not affect the gameplay but introduce visual diversity. Things like these show players that an event has begun. New visuals usually provoke discussion in communities because some people love them, others don’t. Players go to the forums, share their opinions. That alone increases the engagement. But don’t keep the new designs forever. People can get tired and react negatively. You don’t want to still have Christmas trees in the game in March.
Let me tell you about our first Halloween event. We came up with an idea to add ghost robots to maps. It made sense because Halloween is associated with ghosts. Our ghostly robots were supposed to appear here and there, run around the map, scare the players, wreak some extra havoc on the battlefield. Before the launch of the event, we released a video about this temporary update. The video got a lot of views and was warmly received. The players were waiting for this feature. However, when we rolled it out, the game started crashing due to large numbers of players. On that Halloween, not everyone was able to see ghost robots. So this event has become something of a legend that many people are still asking and waiting for.
New visual elements for the main screen and the UI. Today we try not to make major changes on the maps for the events. Instead, we focus primarily on the hangar and pop-up windows. The reason for this is simple: any player that enters our game sees the hangar first and gets a pop-up. The main difficulty for us is to maintain the game’s performance at the same level. If you start the game and it lags, instead of positive emotions you will get negative ones. And the event will have the opposite effect.
Additional tasks. Now we always add quests as part of the events. It makes users spend more time in the game during the events. Initially, we had quest chains. They worked as follows: as soon as the player completed the first quest, they could proceed to the next one. At the end of each sequence of these tasks, the player received an award. The more chains completed, the better the reward. The system had a positive impact on user activity. The average number of fights per day per person during events increased significantly. Moreover, after the end of the event, the activity began to return to the previous level. There were no more declines. We also found that people completed some quests more often than others. This made us realize that players saw the value of in-game objects differently than us. Subsequently, we improved the situation. To do this, it was enough to redistribute quests in such a way that the players first received weapons and only then robots.
We also noticed that the players that advance farthest into quest chains are also the ones who:
pay most often;
pay the most;
play the most.
However, this system had one big flaw. If you entered the game at the end of the event, you couldn’t complete all the quests in the chain: you simply didn’t have enough time. So we redesigned the system. We decided to let go of the quest chains, made the quests easier, limited their completion time, and started giving them out every day. So it doesn’t matter if you’ve completed previous quests or not. If you sign in on a Tuesday, you will receive a Tuesday quest, and on Wednesday you will receive the next one.
We also reduced the total number of awards the players could receive in general. At the same time, we have increased the percentage of people who received at least one. Overall, we were able to increase the number of people who receive awards up to 20 times compared to previous events.
Testing during events. I would like to discuss something else now. Let me tell you what we tested and what we’re testing now as part of the events.
New paint job system for robots. We initially introduced the paint job system as a temporary feature. The new mechanic allowed players to purchase paint jobs and change how the robots looked. We wanted to see how many players would be interested. We didn’t like the result very much. Only a small fraction of our audience appreciated the new mechanic. It’s probably because players in War Robots don’t have time to study the skins of the allies, and you can’t really see the paint job on your enemies because of the predominantly long-range gameplay.
Increasing clan size. Another feature that we tested during the events was the option to increase the maximum size of clans. Our clan system allowed players to accumulate activity points. The more players there were in a clan, the more activity points they had and the higher their clan ranked. We wanted to test how many people would be interested. In the end, we saw that our clans did not interest a lot of players. Subsequently, we worked really hard to improve the entire system.
Game modes. The most interesting thing that we test as part of the events is the new game modes. Each of them significantly changes the gameplay, and offers a new experience to the players. If the mode becomes widely popular, it stays after the end of the event. One of these was the Skirmish mode. This was our first unrated mode, in which players fought each other not with their robots, but with the pre-installed assemblies from developers. The assemblies themselves changed regularly.
This mode had three tasks:
advertise our new content among high-level players;
allow new players to evaluate the entire gaming arsenal;
increase retention.
The feature only increased players’ interest slightly. However, we discovered that players liked this mode because the rules were constantly changing there (for example, some types of robots came equipped with weapons that normally were not fit on them). Thanks to the mode, the DAU/ WAU ratio grew by 5%.
A/B testing during events. Events also allow us to regularly conduct A/B tests.
Pop-ups. For example, we compared the effectiveness of different pop-up windows that notify about the end of an event. Group A was shown a pop-up with a plain text describing what awaits players during the event, as well as the “Go to” button that linked to the social network for more the details. Group B saw a pop-up with stylized pictures, and Group C saw beautiful pictures, some of which were even animated. We thought that group C would show the highest conversion. However, a picture with stylized pictures turned out to be more productive. The smallest conversion was seen in group A.
Notifications. We also did A/B testing of push notifications. We divided all players into eight groups. To each group we sent three push notifications during the event:
Notification that the event started;
Notification that the event continued (sent during the second week);
Notification before the last weekend that the event would end soon.
The push notifications were very different in terms of subject matter. In addition to the main information, some of them informed about gifts, others discussed quests or special offers. The largest conversion was shown by the group in which every new notification was significantly different from the previous ones (in topic, in content and in proposal). An interesting fact: all the notifications that used Emoji performed better than the others. Since then, we have been using Emoji in our notifications as often as possible.
Ongoing experiments. Another thing I would like to share with you is our current experiments. For example, last fall we tried to add a regional event to the game which would be visible to all players but focused primarily on a specific country. In October, we had an event dedicated to China National Day. This holiday falls on the beginning of October. Usually, no one works in China for the whole week. Obviously, users have more time to play.
What we wanted to see:
How will Chinese users respond to the event?
Will they really play more on the weekends?
Will an event like this be interesting to users from other countries?
The answers to all these questions were positive.
In its sixth year, War Robots has crossed 120 million installs and shows no signs of slowing down.

Jongeun Lee et al. / IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters, 2020

[For Hire] Marketing and SEO

My name is Zack Frederick and I started doing marketing several years ago as i began my first yoga ‘e-business', realising very quickly that the difference between me and the next John Doe wasn’t the product but the presentation. So I set about, by trial and error, learning how I could sell more Yoga mats than John Doe. It wasn’t long before I realised I was very good at the marketing aspect, and I didn’t really like things like warehousing and distribution.
Today I’m most interested in building reports, designing paid campaigns and helping with Instagram.
I’ve compiled a few free tips for general marketing and SEO.

Brand awareness

First off. Influencers will not magically make your website successful. You have to be your own influencer. Over my tenor, I have spent thousands on social media analysis, rebranding and learning tricks like sticking state names across American products or even changing the colour of my website depending on the demographics of my audience. Spoilers, guys love red. Here’s an example data set.
Last year, I ran a campaign for one of my shoe clients, and we used the pride of state consumers to grow his shoe business. I researched the best colours to use for different states and gave him a list, we put the state names across his shoes and marketed directly to them through instagram. It wasn’t long before his conversion metrics were soaring.
Here's an example report from one of my clients -

I have worked with a lot of musicians, a big part of them started with low view, audio-only videos. I learnt quickly that for them to achieve success they had to provide value, so i told them to create videos. They did and then ta-da, they had 4500 views when they only had 200 view music videos before. For the next step, I even got them contacts with massive digital celebrities. My proudest connection having been ‘Ninja’ during the height of his fortnite campaign, I organised the marketing behind several viral Fortnite music parodies with now millions of views.

Trend riding

Make use of trends in your business. If something is so mainstream and big, why ignore it? In the past I have made use of the political trends in the American election with trump AND hillary brands on some of my clients products, with the pro trump and pro hillary supporters wanting to sport their political beliefs no matter the cost.
I see a lot of website based businesses underuse social media with broad attempts at Facebook ads and Instagram ads, ill go to digital marketing agencies and see they either have no social following or a huge botted one. It's a terrible idea to buy followers, if you want to cut corners then you should look at buying a smaller business with a bigger social following.
Here’s the impressions from a tweet I made on the first day of creating a company a twitter platform and using trend riding and collaboration to grow it 4K Impressions on one tweet in 15 minutes - we hit 80k impressions in the first day. I did this from simply mimiking the formula for success from a similiar company account, i don't want to try change the magic formula for success.

You really do have to stay in touch with your business to know what's working and what isn't, companies like Toys R Us refused to do that and stuck with huge stockpiles of star wars toys and then they collapsed. Blockbusters where ahead of the curve for digital movies and then they refused to change, Netflix changed and Netflix won. Amazon learnt to use online selling and left companies like Tescos with financial crisis.
The big boom in marketing that I’ve seen is social media marketing, marketers can create huge social following for companies and use that platform to sell content for extremely low costs in comparison to the tens of thousands it costs to use other platforms such as radio. Social media marketing has become somewhat controversial, but it is important to always stay open minded.

Collaboration** & Viral content

I can not stress the importance of working with other people. Every billionaire i know of has had a mentor, every big company success story had business partners. I've had far more success in clients who have listened to me and done collaborative work with digital celebs, with a dog product business making thousands of sales when they worked with vlogger Zoella and gave her free products.
Viral content is very important because every Youtuber with over 1 million subscribers has started off big and managed to keep it big, nobody grinded and slowly rose up at an equal exponent. Hard work is fine but being consistent and mixing it up, copying the viral content of others is an easy way of bringing in secondary viewership and traffic. Pewdiepie, the biggest youtuber on the planet, started with viral horror content. Ninja, the biggest streamer, grinded for 7 years but only truly struck gold with the virality of Fortnite. So it makes sense to repeat their methods.

Key words

It is an obvious thing to say but it's neglected, key words are very important. I had a crypto business come to me and ask why their site wasnt doing very well, and i looked through it and saw they never mentioned anything beyond bitcoin. Bitcoin is a very expensive key word to market, with costs of the raw word being as high as 38$ per click. I had to bring them down to earth with harsh truths, i rewrote their entire site using SEM tools in mind - with key words and phrases like "Altcoin exchange" and using the names of the top 100 altcoins across the site.

Search Engine Optimisation is the name given to increasing the value and raw volume of your organic traffic. A successful website always wants as many of the most likely consumer base to encounter their product because that’s the hardest point of digital business. Your websites SEO is determined by crawlers which regularly check up on your website and update their index which is later used by an algorithm to order results when someone ‘googles’ something.
Today I’m going to be talking you through some key points about SEO that I personally audit for businesses.

Https://Www.Example.Com is an example of something we call a ‘root domain’ which is made up of protocol (https://) subdomain (www.) domain name (example) and top-level domain (.com). These are the basic parts. It’s important that the protocol is the best and safest it can be or else google will punish you. It’s also important your domain name and top-level domain are appropriate and readable. The words used in your subdomain can also affect how customers interpret your website, websites can be named after their market base for easy marketing. In addition, the age and previous registrations of your domain matter. It’s important these factors are appropriately considered in your website. Be minimal with subdomains.

Google knows where it’s users are and what they’re using from their browser data, IPs and MACs and then matches them with websites in their areas or appropriate to searches. Ever since the infamous 2016 update ‘Possum’ it is not something you can ignore. Even jobs based websites had to use the meta data ‘Jobs Schema’ (from 2017 onwards) to tell google where your website was focused. Location specific landing pages matter. You have to pay credence to DNS (domain name server) and Glue to keep TTL (time to load) and mobile in mind, especially with more mobile users than ever. CMS (customs) is also part of this discussion: themes and plugins are a factor in Google’s ranking. One way to improve TTL is through CDN’s and we have to consider how we approach them to rank better. Sometimes, you might face penalties and there are ways to know; that’s a little too hard to explain here but PM me for more.

Nobody loves a book more than google. Robots will read all your website, even the stuff humans don’t bother with. Things like duplication will annoy Google who doesn’t like reading things twice. CTA’s (buttons basically) have to go somewhere nice and if they don’t work properly google will punish you. Human biases are important too. The user experience will effect their retention and Google will clock that. There’s also lots of minor things that can stack up: Filenames (help you rank on Images) Thin content (Google sees it as lazy) phrase diversity (spamming key words is noticed) and URL structures too! Make sure your in and outbound links are healthy as well as having keyword mapping where you assign the correct words to the right pages. Make sure your anchor texts (viewable when linking) are descriptive yet succinct. And finally: link velocity, a healthy eco system of link building is important to longevity and renewed SEO.

Technical Stuff.

Consistent anchor elements are important to prevent 404s. Don’t use abbreviations with naming files and folders. Limit use of dates for file folder names. Your site architecture has to be simple and close to the root domain so the click depth isn’t too great! Links to and from your site can’t be dead ends, and use breadcrumbs! Be wary of canonical issues from similar content across multiple URLs. Treat Cookies and Session IDs properly, privacy laws are ever changed and mismatching them can be dangerous. There’s lots more to go into like header status codes, site maps, GSC Crawl Errors but Reddit has a text limit so I’ve deleted some of my post.

On the death of the Korean striker and the rise of the Korean winger in the K League (two translated articles)

Translated with the help of robots, mistranslations possible

In the era of foreign top scorers, there are no domestic strikers
"Are any of the domestic strikers in the K League (1 or 2) reliable? The reality is that it is hard to find a player who can try shooting after beating a defender with his personal talent. Korean players should be alert."
This is the story of Shin Yeon-ho, head coach of Dankook University, who played a leading role in advancing to the semifinals of the 1983 World Youth Championship in Mexico (the predecessor of the U-20 World Cup) and also served as a striker for the senior national team.
The reason why Shin brought up such a story is because of the absence of Korean strikers in the K League 1. The K League 1 has yet to produce a Korean scoring champion after finishing with Jung Jo-guk in the 2016 season. Ulsan Hyundai striker Junior is also likely to become the top scorer this season. Junio has 20 goals in 17 games this season. He scored ten more goals than No. 2 scorer Iljutcenko of Pohang Steelers.
There was a time when foreign players dominated the K-League 1 scoring champion. Dejan (currently Daegu FC), a member of FC Seoul, became the top scorer for three consecutive years in 2011 before the introduction of the promotion/relegation system. In the 2014 season, Suwon Samsung striker Santos won the K League 1 scoring title. This was the first time for a foreign player to become the top scorer for four consecutive years.
"At the time, there were Korean strikers who competed with the best foreign players," Shin said. "Now, foreign strikers are competing for the top scorer," explaining the difference between the early and mid-2010s.
Looking at the K-League's competition for the top scorer since 2011, Shin Yeon-ho's argument is gaining momentum. From 2011 to 2013, Lee Dong-gook and Kim Shin-wook competed with Dejan for the top scorer. In the 2014 season, Lee Dong-gook ranked second in scoring, one goal short of Santos.
In the 2015 and 2016 seasons, Kim Shin-wook (38 matches 18 goals) and Jung Jo-guk (31 matches 20 goals) were among the top scorers. In the 2017 season, Suwon Samsung striker Jonathan was the top scorer (22 goals in 29 matches), while Yang Dong-hyun was ranked second in scoring, three goals short.
The Korean striker who can compete with foreign strikers, has disappeared since the 2018 season. It was up to foreign players to finish first to fourth in the 2018 season.
It was sideline striker Moon Seon-min who scored the most goals among Korean players this season. Moon Seon-min scored 14 goals in 37 games to rank fifth in the scoring list. Lee Dong-gook (13 goals) and Kim Shin-wook (11 goals) ranked eighth and ninth.
The 2018 K-League 1 scoring champion was Brazilian striker Marcão (Gyeongnam FC at the time). Marcão scored 26 goals in 31 games.
Last season, foreign players ranked first through sixth in the K League. Australian striker Adam Tagart, who scored 20 goals in 33 games, became the top scorer while offensive midfielder Kim Bo-kyung scored the most goals (13 goals in 35 matches) among Korean players.
He ranked seventh in the scoring ranking.
Coach Shin Yeon-ho explained, "It is natural for foreign strikers to perform well in any league in the world."
Soccer is a sport where you have to score a goal to win. This is why strikers are considered the most important positions. That's why professional clubs are recruiting talented foreign players. The problem is that Korean players have to grow up while competing with talented foreign players, but they cannot. If foreign players score more than they do now, they can't avoid challenges on the international stage such as the World Cup and the Olympics."
Shin said, "Even in the case of scouts seeking hidden talent from the college stage, there will be no Korean strikers."
"A club scout or agent is not interested in a college striker. Any team can solve the scoring problem by hiring a foreign striker. It's not just the college stage. Young people who start playing soccer are reluctant to take striker positions. In order to succeed not only in the K-League but also in Europe, it is better to grow up as a defender or midfielder. Players with physical conditions just right for the striker position in the past are now growing up in other positions."
Ahead of the 2020 season, the football community expected the birth of a big striker to succeed Lee Dong-gook and Kim Shin-wook. Strikers Oh Se-hoon and Cho Kyu-sung, who led the AFC U-23 Championship in January, challenged the K-League 1.
Oh Se-hoon made his 2018 season professional debut as a player who grew up on the Ulsan Hyundai youth team. Oh Se-hoon, who had only three K-League matches in his first season, moved to the K-League 2 Asan Mugunghwa Professional Football Team the following year, showing remarkable growth.
Oh played in 30 K League 2 games last year, scoring seven goals and three assists. He played in the U-20 World Cup in Poland from May 24 to June 16, 2019 and led South Korea to the runner-up medal.
The football community also had high expectations for Cho Kyu-sung. Cho made his pro debut last year in the FC Anyang uniform and scored 14 goals (33 matches). He was the fourth-highest scorer in the K-League 2 last season, the highest among Korean players.
However, the two players are not meeting the expectations of the footba community. Oh Se-hoon, who chose to join the army early, has scored four goals and two assists in 11 K League 1 matches this season. Wearing a Jeonbuk Hyundai uniform, Cho scored just one goal (one assist) in 13 matches.
"There is a difference between K League 1 and K League 2. The players who play in K-League 1 are more skilled and the team is more complete," said coach Shin Yeon-ho.
In other words, the K League 1 defenders are better than the players who play in K League 2. The same goes for organizational skills. This is why Oh Se-hoon and Cho Kyu-sung, who performed well in last year's K League 2 and age-specific competitions, do not meet expectations. The way he scored last year does not work in the K League 1. After all, there is only one solution. You have to remember that professionals don't wait for growth and do repetitive training."
Cho's team Jeonbuk has recruited two foreign players who caught the eyes of the soccer community this summer. The main characters are Gustavo, a Brazilian professional football striker, and Mo Barrow, a side striker from the English Premier League (EPL). The two have established themselves as key players in the team since their debut.
Gustavo, who subbed on vs FC Seoul on July 26, immediately scored his debut goal. On July 29, he scored a hat trick in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup against Busan I'Park.
Mo Barrow took the lead in Jeonbuk's fourth straight league victory with his quick feet, snooth dribbles and sharp crossing skills. Jeonbuk had no victory (two draws and one loss) in three consecutive games, starting with the match against Sangju Sangmu (0-1) on July 5. Jeonbuk has changed dramatically since the two players were recruited.
That's why professional clubs are recruiting foreign attackers. If Korean strikers do not want to lose their spots, they must show the results. There's no other way. When given the chance, we have to prove that we have the ability to score goals, beating one or two defenders." Shin thinks.
Head coach Shin Yeon-ho advised strikers growing in the K-League to emulate legendary Lee Dong-gook. Lee Dong-gook is a living legend with 228 points (first place) in 543 K-League games. He has scored four goals in six games this season.
Lee made his professional debut in 1998. When there were many high-quality foreign players such as Dejan, Edu, and Molina, they competed fiercely with them. He is still 41 years old and still competitive. There is no special reason. It is simply the power of repetitive training. Lee Dong-gook made the volley into his best weapon with constant practice. Timing for the movement and crosses of teammates and shooting cannot come out overnight. The fact that there are no players who can replace Lee Dong-gook also means that there are no players who have trained that much." This is Shin's cold analysis.
South Korea has been making progress since the third group match of the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia. At that time, South Korea beat defending champion Germany 2-0. Although he failed to advance to the round of 16, he was evaluated by the football community as having "seen hope."
In the same year, the U-23 national soccer team won the gold medal at the Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games in Indonesia. This is the first time that Korea has won two consecutive Asian Games titles. Last year, the U-20 national team led by head coach Chung Jung-yong reached the final of the FIFA-sponsored tournament.
There's something in common here. The fact is that there were players who scored opportunities such as Son Heung-min, Hwang Ui-jo and Oh Se-hoon. The K-League is the foundation of Korean soccer. Only when there are players who can keep pace with Son Heung-min, Hwang Ui-jo and Hwang Hee-chan in Europe can Korea become stronger. This is why Korean strikers are needed in the K-League, which is filled with foreign strikers.

Korean strikers have disappered from the list of top scorers... The trend is now wingers
This is a time when wingers are drawing more attention than strikers.
Looking at the K League 1 scoring ranking this season, it is hard to see the names of Korean strikers. Korean players such as Kang Sang-woo (Sangju Sangmu), Han Kyo-won (Jeonbuk Hyundai) [both on 7 goals], Ko Mu-yeol (Gangwon FC), and Song Min-kyu (Pohang Steelers) [both on 6 goals] are not authentic strikers. Unlike lone-striker foreigners such as Junior (Ulsan Hyundai 20 goals) and Iljutcenko (Pohang 10 goals), Korean strikers such as Lee Jung-hyeop (Busan I'Park 5 goals), Lee Dong-gook (Jeonbuk) and Oh Se-hoon (Sangju) [both on 4 goals] remain outside the top 10. Lee Dong-gook's initial pace at the start of the season was good, but he dropped out of the scoring race due to injury.
Instead, the wingers with scoring ability are responsible for the goals. Kang Sang-woo, who turned into a winger at Sangju [he played fullback for Pohnag] and shows off his strong offensive instincts, Han Kyo-won, who has been reborn as an ace for Jeonbuk, and Song Min-kyu, a rookie for Pohang, are showing their power by penetrating to the center from the side and joining the scoring. In the case of Ko Mu-yeol, he is making goals by going back and forth between the front line, side and second line due to the style of Gangwon's football. The situation in the second division is similar. Ahn Byung-joon (Suwon FC, 15 goals) is not a [South] Korean player, but Gong Min-hyun (Jeju United, 7 goals) is a "multiplayer" who passes through various positions. Baek Seong-dong (6 goals for Gyeongnam FC) is a fast-footed winger who usually moves from the side. Regardless of the first or second-tier leagues, the phenomenon of orthodox strikers failing to reach the top of the scoring list in the K-League is intensifying.
The wingers' strides have nothing to do with the changes in modern football style. In the past, after the winger broke through from the side, he focused on assisting. There was a strong tendency to be more direct. Recently, football, which has a synergy effect with strikers, has gained momentum as wingers have penetrated from side to center. In the K-League, where tactics are more detailed than in the past, wingers and attacking midfielders attack and participate in scoring as much as strikers. Except for Junior, it can be seen as the reason for the absence of a striker that shows overwhelming decision-making power.
"When I was playing, my tactics were relatively monotonous," said Ulsan coach Kim Do-hoon, who was a striker of a past era. "Focusing the ball on the striker, the wingers functioned to make the cross. Recently, wingbacks tend to try more crosses. Instead, the wingers let them enter the final third, or penalty box. There are also many operations in which right-footed people stand on the left and left-footed people stand on the right and cut inside. It is a tactical structure in which several players participate in scoring."
The impact of strikers such as Hwang Ui-jo (Bordeaux) and Kim Shin-wook (Shanghai Shenhua) in the K-League is also significant. They were the players who succeeded the striker line-up to Lee Dong-gook, Jung Jo-gook and Park Chu-young, but they are not members of the K-League any more. The situation was not much different last year when they left though. The Koreans in the top 10 were Kim Bo-kyung (13 goals), Park Yong-ji (12 goals), and Yoon Il-rok (11 goals) were also not strikers. "With competitive players going abroad, most teams use foreign players as strikers," Kim said. "Because immediate results are important, and I think it is also necessary to nurture young and good domestic players. We look forward to seeing more big strikers emerge in Korea as well."

The Cyberheart is a Thriller book by independent author JASAVUR JASAVUR The Cyberheart is a story of a mind-reading android who has a secret link with the director of the Cyber-Devastation Corporation, whose futuristic looking, androids are found with strange attacks after a recent cyber attack by the corporation, aiming to take over the entire planet. The mission to find the cyber-devastated androids is taken by Ranger A (who got infected by the symbiote. Shapeshifting and intelligent). Ranger A discovers that the Cyber-Devastation Corporation was planning to inject powerful parasites on the humans to absorb their life energy, and the infected are taken to their laboratories to be harvested as a new source of energy. The villain of the Cyberheart is the villain in Cobra (who is a human being), who is after the Cyberheart to reverse his slow aging process, and is using the white aliens as biological creatures that will do his bidding. The cyber-devastation corporation has developed a virus, called the Cyber-Root which transfers from one android to another. The infected android will slowly turn into a cyborg – androids with cybernetic parts – living for hundreds of years – even older than the next model. But with the robots became fully autonomous, they were put to use, like slaves or accomplices in the crime scene. So Rangers A and B discovered that the white aliens were one of the tools of the Cyberdevastation Corporation, who had developed a biological weapon using these alien beings, resulting in the white aliens taking over the technology of the Cyberdevastation Corporation to complete their goals. But before the Cyberdevastation Corporation could finish their goals, they began an attack on Ranger A. The Cyberdevastation Corporation activated the alien invaders which have infected him, using them as agents to attack humans. And Ranger A is the carrier of the Cyber-Root virus, which is growing inside him with the alien cells that were removed from his body, resulting in the Cyberroot infecting all the Cyberdevastation Corporation robots in his body. And after a short battle against the alien soldiers, Ranger A came out victorious, not knowing that he has unintentionally released the Cyberroot virus which was infecting all the robots in the Cyberdevastation Corporation, which is highly mutagenic and the same type of virus which developed in the dinosaurs in the primordial times and also the one which developed the ticks in the jungle. The Cyberroot virus soon spreads and all the Cyberdevastation Corporation and their robots are gradually turning into cyborgs. However, some of them have managed to fight off the virus and make it to safety while some others are captured and taken to the labs of the mysterious white aliens. The Rangers A and B discover that the white aliens are the mysterious killer who kidnaps the butlers and the staff of the office buildings around the downtown sector of the city. They also learn that the white aliens are from the beautiful planet Venus. The white aliens are seemingly primitive beings, who have no technology, weapons, or even any form of communication with the humans, who call them ‘soilders’. The white aliens are searching for something called “Nog”, which they believe to be the source of the cybernetic transformation of the androids. The white aliens have developed a procedure to create humans with the special abilities of the Cyberdevastation Corporation and the white aliens develop a race of cybernetically enhanced humans. The project is known as Operation Cyberroot, which involves the use of the blue alien technology on the human hosts. The Rangers A and B investigate the black project which is an experimental system designed to change humans into cyborgs. The black project project is managed by Commander Strange, who is secretly a member of the S.H.I.E.L.D. branch known as “Shadow”. Strange is warned that a S.H.I.E.L.D. branch known as “the Hand” is trying to stop the operation by infiltrating his own organization to kill him. When Rangers A and B learn of the situation, they realize that they must form an alliance with the S.H.I.E.L.D. branch known as “Agent 13”. However, the mission turns out to be quite difficult as the ‘shadow group’ has locked down the Black project to stop the Rangers A and B from uncovering the secrets of the operation. Meanwhile, Rangers A and B, along with Agent 13, manage to steal the Cyberroot virus from the Cyberdevastation Corporation, which is under the control of the white aliens. It is also revealed that Ranger A is an android and not a natural human, who was created with alien technology. Ranger A accidentally became infected with the Cyberroot virus which was absorbed into his body, turning him into a cyborg. The Rangers A and B manage to locate and hack into the computer system of the Cyberdevastation Corporation and enter the secret cybernetic modification room, where they destroy the Cyberroot virus and capture the androids, while the Rangers A are infected with the Cyberroot virus. The androids are infected with the cyberroot virus and start attacking the Rangers A, and although the other Rangers A manage to subdue them, they realize that the androids have been infected with the Cyberroot virus. Before the virus can complete its transformation into the Cyberdevastation Corporation and the androids can transform back to their original human form, the androids are attacked by unknown creatures which teleported by the androids’ new sentience. The Rangers A manage to subdue the creatures, but not before one of them sacrifices itself to save the other two, who manage to defeat the creatures. With the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents present, the androids are free to transform and transform back into their original human form. It is also revealed that the androids have come to the U.S. from the Venusian colony, and that they have been transformed into cyborgs as part of an experiment. The Rangers A and B offer to help them find out where they have been transported to, and also suggest that the humans be changed back into their normal form, but the androids refuse and ask to be left alone, having realized that they are no longer human. However, the Black Hand return to destroy the Cyberroot virus and the androids as well. The Rangers A and B, joined by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents who are revealed to have survived the androids’ invasion and the Black Hand, fight the Cyberroot virus and the androids. With the Cyberroot virus destroyed and the androids and humans reverted back to their normal forms, the black program is destroyed and S.H.I.E.L.D. reverts all members of the Shadow Project, including Commander Strange, into normal human beings. With the Shadow Project stopped, the Rangers A and B must still face the danger of the Secret Avengers, as they were responsible for the creation of the Shadow Project and had been supplying them with arms to wage war. However, the Rangers A and B manage to track down the Secret Avengers, who were being monitored by the S.H.I.E.L.D. Department of Damage Control, and defeat them. After the events in Fear Itself, Avengers Stormwatch are active in Wakanda again, until the Red Skull arrives and took over the nation, planning to conquer the world by uniting the heroes and villains. He sends Reed Richards, the Human Torch, Thor, and Ms. Marvel to Wakanda. Kamala and Moon Girl (consisting of Jackie Estacado and Red Man) of the Daughters of the Dragon are charged with dealing with the Red Skull and his army, but instead of stopping them, Kamala runs off with Jackie, finding themselves in another dimension. They find themselves in another dimension where the characters of X-Men: Generation X have merged into a single group called the Squadron Supreme. Kamala accepts them into her dimension, which is why she seems confused about whether to give the Red Skull a piece of her mind. After confronting them with a force of Terrigen crystals, Kamala and the Squadron fight off the Red Skull and manage to kill him. When Ms. Marvel (Kimura Kimura) of Generation X follows them back to their dimension, they both realize that they can’t stay in each others’ worlds forever. They resolve to start new lives in their own worlds. Returning to their own universe, Kamala and Jackie remain in each others’ universes for some time, with Kamala and Kimura Kimura working together with other Marvel characters from other dimensions. Kamala Khan has been integrated into the Marvel Universe, and is currently a member of a team, led by Luke Cage, called the Thunderbolts, who has the goal of taking down the Framework, the artificial reality created by HYDRA which contained the real world during the 2016 “Secret Wars”. A version of Kamala is also part of the 2017 film X-Men: Apocalypse, as the first X-Men to be formed by Charles Xavier, Scott Summers, and Moira MacTaggert in the midst of the 1984 tale X-Men #1, and is one of the few mutants to survive the attack by Apocalypse during the film. Kamala and her mother had previously appeared in the season two episode, “Battle Scars,” as supporting characters in the scenes where they were interviewing candidates for the new teacher position of Squirrel Girl. Kamala also appears in the comic book based sequel to the X-Men: Apocalypse, X-Men: Days of Future Past. On March 16, 2018, the third season of New Warriors premiered on Disney XD. Power Pack As an infant, Kate Kane’s parents were murdered by a government operation. The government lied and told her that her parents had been killed by members of the Skull, but Kane was raised to be a member of the Shadow Council, a faction of super-powered individuals dedicated to destroying the American government. When Michael Manhatten is revealed to be a mutant, government agents begin to kidnap and experiment on other mutants. One of them, a government agent called Crossbones, injects Kate with a serum that gives her powers, but also strips her of her soul, making her their “agent of influence,” effectively a mind-controlled weapon. After Crossbones kills her handler, Super Skrull, and attempts to kill Kate, the superheroes known as the New Mutants intervene. When they free Kate, they learn that her brain has been altered by the injection, and she is now 100% corporate owned. She decides to find a place where she can escape the control of the government, and the X-Men offer to help, much to her fury. The X-Men invite the New Mutants to a carnival to use their computers to try to analyze the situation, where they find Skrulls everywhere. The New Mutants ambush the Skrulls, destroying their flying ship. One of them, Whirlwind, is injured and is unable to fly. After escaping the airship, Crossbones contacts Kate via a force field and attacks her again. Kate knocks him into a vat of acid, and is about to kill him when the X-Men show up. Kate kisses her dead mentor, says a few words in his memory, and moves on with her life. The New Mutants’ experience with the government leaves them suspicious of other mutants, and after they recruit X-23 and Wolfsbane, the group splits up to investigate the rifts between the countries of the world. Kate joins up with the X-Men, who take her and Domino to the North Pole, where she plans to confront Captain America. Unfortunately, Domino wanders off by herself, and Kate is attacked by T-Ray, a former member of the Super-Soldiers. T-Ray damages Kate’s face and leaves her stranded on a glacier, and she dies from hypothermia. During the events of Secret Wars, Kate had died long ago, and is now a ghost who haunts the New Mutants and the government that had experimented on them. She appears briefly during an attempted infiltration of the X-Men’s headquarters by a former member of the Government, Crossbones. She is seen trying to destroy the security systems, and then catches a glimpse of Kate’s spirit in a window. Powers and Abilities Abilities Ability 1: Hulk Punch/Superhuman Strength. Ability 2: Hard-Hitting Speech. Abilities Powers Legacy The identity of Kate Kane was officially confirmed in October 2013, but was publicly acknowledged long before that. Kate’s parents were murdered by a government operation in retaliation for her father’s political activism. She was raised by S.H.I.E.L.D. as an agent. She developed superhuman strength as a result of being given a serum. By the time she joined the New Warriors in 1993, she had long since passed out of S.H.I.E.L.D. and became involved in freelance crime fighting. Her first visit to a black ops team named New Excalibur was also her last. In 1997 she became a full-time member of Excalibur, and for a time was made its leader. In order to better blend in with the Avengers and the Secret Warriors, her name was changed to Kate Ireland, and she adopted an A.I. program to call her “Devil Dog”. Kate Ireland has repeatedly been part of the New Mutants and X-Force, and she is the ex-girlfriend of the current current New Excalibur member Archangel. Kane’s brother Kevin later became a member of Excalibur in 2004. However, those it affected included those who visited the place where it was located, and those who simply wandered into it. It appeared to affect people from all over the world, and many visitors seemed to stay and linger, partly because of the area’s beauty. Those affected with this area’s energy also seemed to experience amnesia, although this may have been due to the fact that they were sometimes living a dream when they were near it. The energy’s main source appeared to be a large, transparent crystal that occupied the entire area. Some research was done on the crystal, including attempts to take it apart and replace it with artificial crystals, but nothing else was ever found. The energy remained completely stable and stopped working when people died or disappeared. At one point, the area of the Callisto Crystal Project was invaded by the Avengers. They eventually discovered that the intruders were A.I.M., who had kidnapped Forge, the creator of Excalibur. The Sentinel used a modified Excalibur computer to siphon energy from the crystal, and this technology allowed the heroes to defeat the A.I.M. Sentinels. Other groups from time to time would occasionally attack the Callisto Project. The new mutant Axana would appear in service to Magik and help repel these groups, but soon after she joined Magik’s new team, She-Hulk arrived to assist. The Avengers and the X-Men would make similar and overlapping visits to the Callisto Project. The area’s energy gave people the ability to see other dimensions, and this also proved a fascination for several high-profile persons, including the Moon King. Several members of the Avengers and the X-Men experimented with the power as well. The second day of Project: Callisto was not recorded because the energy wave did not leave the area. The only people to gain any significant level of control over the energy were the mutant Ben Grimm and the Chinese mutant Shang-Chi. Although the energy wave was not activated, its effects were still observed and recorded by many scientists from around the world. When the energy wave left the area, Ben Grimm revealed his existence to the public, and dozens of scientists were able to duplicate his technology. Because of the high-profile scientist with the capability of absorbing the energy wave, the Callisto Project received more attention than it usually would have received, and several groups and governments made extensive research into the area. For some reason, the energy wave had broken apart and the energy itself began to move. The government group determined that it was being pulled in two directions: to the outside world and into the center of the main crystal, where it was seemingly sustaining the energy wave. Ben Grimm eventually lost control of his telekinesis, and the energy itself was somehow being controlled by those in the area. It became a strange mystical mass of energy which the telepathic Ben Grimm and others could still influence, but it also seemed to be totally unaware of them. It was located on a high plateau in the mountains near Austria, and most people believed that it was the natural energy of the mountain that caused it to manifest and they did not question the strange characteristics of the area. However, for many years after Project: Callisto’s completion, the energy seemed to be pulling toward the center of the plateau. At first, it seemed like a dormant volcano was waking, but then the energy began to twist and turn. It was moving and mutating, taking on a spherical shape. The people living nearby told that as if some natural force was weakening the mountain. Then strange entities started to emerge from the energy. The United States government decided to militarize the area. A large military base was built near the area. That base would grow to house one of the largest hospitals in the country. It was at that time when the name Project: Callisto was adopted. The military hospital was closed and the facility turned over to be managed by the U.S. Air Force and Department of Defense, which kept it as the headquarters for Project: Callisto. When the Department of Defense left, the hospital was known as The Callisto Foundation. During the 1990s, the energy wave reached into The Callisto Facility and was interacting with its structure. The plasma was forming in the center of the facility and spreading out until it reached the surrounding mountain. The plasma was mutating the surface of the mountain. Ice and rock began to slide off. The fire on the side of the mountain started to spread outward. People around the area started to panic and evacuate the area. Although this attack was only supposed to be symbolic, many people saw the behavior of the plasma as a form of aggression toward the containment that was established around the facility. Within a few years, The Callisto Facility was completely destroyed. At that time, a group of scientific researchers living in the area were conducting a study to find out the cause of the strange events, so they sent a reporter named Jonathan Worthington to get the information. The reporter would later appear in a story called “Epidemic: What did the anomalous energy wave do to the Callisto facility?” The symptoms that were seen after The Callisto Facility was destroyed were not the first thing that Worthington would mention in his investigation of the event. Jonathan came back from his mission to the Callisto Facility, with a story that was completely different from what everyone expected to hear. “It came from inside the mountain. No one knew what it was. The government was no help. They just laughed and gave me a form letter. The Callisto Foundation wouldn’t even talk to me. The military didn’t believe me. It was awful. No one could give me any answers. I needed to figure out what the thing that attacked the Callisto Facility was. The only thing I could think was that it had to be some kind of particle. I didn’t believe in alien technology, but it had to be something related to human technology. I talked to scientists, engineers, and doctors, but no one could give me a solution. Finally, I talked to a friend who is a mathematician. He gave me a quick look, and told me that the area near the Callisto Facility contained some very strange geometry. We sat down at his kitchen table and stared at it for a long time. He said that he didn’t see any reason it should have existed, but he didn’t see any reason it shouldn’t have existed. He was right. His daughter worked at the Callisto Facility. That’s how she knew. She told me that all of the anomalies were a product of human technology. The entity that attacked the facility was only made up of certain types of matter. There were particles that were not manufactured on earth, but produced naturally. He told me that we were all carrying around an undetected artifact that we had created during the development of teleportation technology. It only used a small portion of the energy that the government and the military were producing and it couldn’t produce energy at the rate they were producing energy. In fact, it can only produce a very small amount of energy. It can’t even make a little bit of matter out of nothing. It uses that energy to create the massive magnetic field that protects it. The source of this energy, which scientists call a “flare,” is located in the opposite hemisphere of the device. All the energy that is created within the device is constantly being sent back and forth from the opposite hemisphere of the flare to a network of pipes located in the center of the device. He said that it took about two weeks to put a trace on it. There was no connection on the other side. It was coming from our side. I tried to talk him out of telling me this. I said, “Look, we don’t know how the artifact is built. We don’t know how it operates. We don’t know where the flare is coming from. We don’t even know where it’s coming from.” But he would not listen to me. He said that I had no proof, that I had no one to ask. But there was no way for him to know that. He said that he wanted to go back to the Callisto facility, and I offered to go with him. We arrived there in the middle of the night. We had to fly to the mountain. It was an awful trip. It was night, and there were snow flurries flying everywhere. It seemed like we were being chased. All of the buildings at the facility were dark. The gate was locked. But we couldn’t find a way in. We just walked around. We were cold and hungry and worried. Finally, we came to one of the buildings. The front door was open. We walked inside and there were a few people sitting around a table in the dark. We walked over to the table. We sat down and looked at each other. We had no idea what to do. Finally, we just looked at the people at the table and told them what had happened. They had no idea what was going on, but they wanted to help. The next morning, we left the mountain and went to the Pentagon. They wanted to know everything that we had found out about the device. But there was nothing that we could tell them. The device wasn’t there anymore. We didn’t know what it had become. It wasn’t at the Callisto Facility anymore. The government didn’t want to hear about it. They didn’t want anyone to know about it. They were afraid. Recently, the Nevada Test Site at Yucca Mountain, which was the primary site for most of the US government’s nuclear testing in the 20th and 21st centuries, announced that it would reopen the area to nuclear waste dumping. They were forced to open the site to disposal as part of the Obama administration’s deal to permanently shutter the Yucca Mountain nuclear repository. The New York Times reports that: “In this Trump era, the federal government is embracing a pro-nuclear energy approach. The Obama administration, wary of the Yucca Mountain site, abandoned the project in 2015 and shifted more than $3 billion in federal spending to reviving an alternative repository at Yucca Mountain in Nevada.” Clearly, nuclear weapons have been a cornerstone of the US national security strategy since at least the 1940s, and possibly since the inception of the nuclear age. After numerous false starts, the repository has now entered a stage where work can start again. If you think the threat from nuclear weapons has subsided, think again: the nuclear genie is not about to be put back in the bottle. William J.
